Stayed 3 nights with dinner included. Fantastic food, everything cooked to order. Rooms were good, plenty of 13A sockets including an RJ45 internet socket. Air con worked very well. Bathroom well equiped, one gripe is the fixed overhead rainfall shower. I personall prefer the flexible hose type. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Large car park at the side plus a few spaces out the front on the esplanade. At the weekend locals came in for breakfast which was very cheap and plentiful. Would definately stay again.
Met brother and sister-in-law for a birthday lunch. Excellent hospitality throughout and four delicious, quality meals at very reasonable prices. If I lived closer to Great Yarmouth it would definitely be on my list of regular places to eat.
March 6th to 8th 2026 2nd time at The Imperial Hotel Gt Yarmouth. We came for gin tasting and a meal, both were brilliant, food at the hotel is excellent, it is such a shame we live too far away to make this a regular venue(Skegness is not close enuf) have been before and loved it. The rooms and staff are fabulous, its a hotel that likes itself, I think that might be down to the management. Thanks to all. Denise and Ian Keogh Rm 108.xx
This was the second time that we had enjoyed the New Year's Celebrations at the Imperial. This year the theme was The Great Gatsby Gala which included a Gala Dinner and Disco.. We stayed for 3 nights arriving on 30th December and leaving after breakfast on 2nd January. The Gala Evening was a great evening. Amazing atmosphere and lovely food. In fact our whole 3 day package was amazing. The rooms are lovely and the staff are lovely too. The hotel has so much to offer. We hope to back there again soon. We wont be waiting until next new year for our next visit
Me, my mum & dog stayed for 4 lovely nights. The staff are second to none, so kind and helpful. Breakfast was top class with a beautiful view of the ocean. We had the best evening meals compared to other places in GY. Im definitely coming back
Lovely atmosphere as soon as you arrive. Good sized, very well equipped rooms. Very comfortable bed. Now to the food. Wow, just wow. We were attending a wedding and the food was off the scale. The “Imperial Breakast” was the best full English I’ve ever had. Every item was delicious and perfectly cooked. Every course of the wedding meal was top quality and beautifully presented. The staff are the hotels biggest asset. Every one was super friendly and helpful. They all have a lovely way with guests. All in all a near perfect hotel with lots of character and charm also making it the perfect wedding venue. Thank you Grant, Tina and team (not forgetting Lucy) you are lovely people doing a great job. We were sad to leave…
This is just a nice hotel with amazing people who look after you Great food in the restaurant Room was nice bathroom was great - nice big shower And... And a charger (6kw) at 50p KW so Yes it was a good night's stay for work!

Great hotel, good location. Staff friendly and approachable. Nice to go to a hotel where you can open the windows properly. Choice of bath or shower. Lovely restaurant's on site,especially the terrace lovely sea view. My only criticism is that the bed was too firm, I woke with back pain each day.
Well, what to start with!!! It's the day after our wedding which was held at The Imperial hotel. From the start of the process, all the planning, all the laughs, Grant has been a absolute diamond. As have all the staff!! Our wedding day was made so special by the very attentive and kind staff, from reception to cleaning, from kitchen to bar, everyone had a smile and a chat. We couldn't recommend this amazing place highly enough, especially if you're thinking of a wedding or celebration where everything is taken care of. Thank you to you all for really putting the special extra touches and care which made our day so memorable. Love Mr & Mrs Edgar!
